At first I was debugging my code using Xamarin's Live player. Unfortunately, it works wacky, meaning it often won't go to next app's page without any reason. Besides, I don't think it can handle anything more complicated than very basic app. E.g. in my app I'm using ZXing barcode scnanner library and I'm not able to run the scanner on live player (which isn't the case when I run my app on physical device). I ended up with testing each build on the device, pushing eventual exception's messages to the database via web services. Obviously, it's a nightmare having to archive, download to the device and install each time I want to test the app.
There must be better way. I look to emulator as potential solution, but in my current set up I can't install HAXM driver.. How do you deal with this issue?
