In our app we’re putting Entries inside a ListView and I’m seeing ugly-ish behavior when the user starts typing. I have attached a sample project that exhibits the behavior clearly on a Galaxy Note running Android 4.1.2. The issue is that when you start typing text into one of the lower items in the list, the keyboard will do one of two things:
1) if the item is just barely on the bottom half of the screen the keyboard will cover the entry and you can’t see what you’re typing or scroll to make it visible.
2) if the item is lower down on the screen the keyboard will open up and the screen scrolls so the entry is right at the top of the keyboard like you’d expect except once you start typing the scroll freaks out, flashing erratically back and forth between fully scrolled up and putting the entry right at the top of the keyboard.
I’m seeing this behavior only on 4.1.2, and not on 4.4.4 or 5.0.1.
I haven’t been able to find a known bug for this. Is there something we’re doing wrong?
