Hello!
I use Entry with Visual="Material" and set BackgroundColor = "Transparent".
If use nuget package Xamarin.Forms-1829-pre6 (or above) and Xamarin.Forms.Visual.Material-1829-pre6 (or above) background color is White (not transparent). The other colors work fine.
With Xamarin.Forms and Xamarin.Forms.Visual.Material version 1791-pre5 Transparent color work fine.
