Does not apply styles in Debug

I'm applying a style to a page; but when I run the application on my device it does not apply the styles or the placement to a label; I'm running the application in Debug, but if you ran the Release application, apply the changes. I would like to know how I can make changes to the styles in Debug.

the styles are being applied in the following way

<Label x:Name="billLabel" Text="Bill" TextColor="{DynamicResource fgColor}" Style="{StaticResource infoLabelStyle}" Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="0" />
