Hello,
@DavidOrtinau you posted a new blog at https://blog.xamarin.com/xamarin-forms-3-1-improvments/ about some improvements that were made in Xamarin.Forms 3.1. I have a few questions regarding these improvements, but there isn't a discussion thread in the blog section of the general forum as for the previous blogs.
Now for my questions:
In the documentation of the keyboard flags https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/Xamarin.Forms.KeyboardFlags?view=xamarin-forms in the list with possible flags there are two flags that have the same description: CapitalizeNone
and None
.
The description says for both that the flag Indicates that nothing will be automatically capitalized
Is his correct or an error in the documentation?
Another question regarding these flags: can i use multiple flags together, for example CapitalizeNone
and Spellcheck
?
Next question is for the text prediction. I am not a native english speaker so my understanding here may be wrong, but isn't the text prediction and the Suggestions
from the keyboard flags the same? If i disable the suggestions via the keyboard flags, will i still get the text prediction? Or am i misunderstanding these features?
Regards,
Dirk
