I have a requirement to use an image to overlay on a map with given coordinates. So, basically, I have a detailed image of a large area. I want to be able to overlay that image on a map given the northern most point and eastern most point of the image. Then as the user scrolls the map, the image scrolls with. This is functionality already available in Google maps.
I'm not seeing where this is possible through Xamarin.Forms.Maps. I know XF.Maps utilizes native mapping apps for each platform. If it's possible, can someone point me to those docs or example? If not, then has anyone used Google maps from xamarin.forms for iOS AND Android? I'm ok with it not being cross platform, I don't mind "duplicating" the map functionality on each platform.
