i've been writing an app for ios using xamarin.forms. In this app i am accessing an sql server and loading a hugh amount of data into a datatable. After that i will push it into an sqlite database. The data download and sql fill is realized in the ios part of the project. Now i will update an xamarin.forms progressbar progress vaue from my ios methodbut i don't know how. I've passed the progress bar itself from xamarin.forms method through the interface method to the ios method, and set the progress value but the progress bar is showing nothing when i will run my app.

Generally: What is the best way to update controls (like labels and progress bars) in xamarin.forms from a plattform side method?
